Bulgarians have elected a new parliament

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has published the interim results on its website following the processing of 100% of the protocols from the Sectoral Election Commissions (SEC) in the Regional Election Commissions (REC). Data is current as of 3:00 PM. The results of the elections for members of the 52nd Parliament, held on April 19, 2026, are as follows:
'Progressive Bulgaria' – 44.594% (1,444,924 votes)
GERB-SDS – 13.387% (433,755 votes)
'We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria' (PP-DB) – 12.618% (408,845 votes)
'Movement for Rights and Freedoms' (DPS) – 7.120% (230,693 votes)
'Vazrazhdane' – 4.257% (137,940 votes)
The CEC is required to announce the official vote counts and the distribution of mandates among parties and coalitions no later than four days after election day, with the names of the elected members of parliament to be announced within one week of the vote.
These were the eighth elections for the National Assembly held since 2021.
