Dr Sharon McCulloch of the EUI Widening Europe Programme presented a series of trainings at GATE Institute, Sofia University St. Climent Ohridsky.

The first Making academic presentations in English is aimed at helping feel more confident about speaking in English in a high-stakes environment. The workshops cover confidence building, using signposting to introduce and structure the talk, and explaining the research clearly to an interdisciplinary audience.
Targeting the right journal guides students to identify which journals to submit.

As the workshop is highly interactive, the number of places was limited
