GATE and BROD presented at Language Data Space Country Workshop in Bulgaria

The GATE Institute and BROD presented their work at the European Language Data Space workshop, organised by the Institute for Bulgarian Language and the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, where experts from the Bulgarian Industry, Public Administration and Research discussed the importance of language data for the development of Language Technologies and AI-based tools in Bulgaria.

The critical importance of linguistic data spaces for low-resource languages was the topic of the presentation of Iva Krasteva and Keith Kiely from GATE Institute.

The director of the GATE Institute prof. Sylvia Ilieva moderated the panel Language Data Production and Management: Overcoming Obstacles, with participation of Trayan Kosev from KGK, Hristo Dolutarov from Wisertech, Svoboda Todorova from BTA, Ivan Vankov from Iris.ai.
