New AFP training in the frame of BROD project

The AFP's third fact-checking training will be again delivered in a hybrid format.
The schedule is as follows:

For Bulgarian participants:

Tuesday March 25 in Sofia, 09:00-17:00: full day part 1 (archiving, metadata, reverse image/video search)

Wednesday March 26 in Sofia, 09:00-17:00: full day part 2 (geolocation, image forensic, AI, scientific topics)

For Romanian participants:
Thursday March 27 in Bucharest, 09:00-17:00: full day part 1 (archiving, metadata, reverse image/video search)

Friday March 28 in Bucharest, 09:00-17:00: full day part 2 (geolocation, image forensic, AI, scientific topics)

Commission endorses the integration of the voluntary Code of Practice on Disinformation into the Digital Services Act

The Commission and the European Board for Digital Services endorsed the integration of the voluntary Code of Practice on Disinformation into the framework of the Digital Services Act (DSA). This integration will make the Code a benchmark for determining platforms' compliance with the DSA. [+]

Bulgarians against vandalism of "Vazrazhdane"

The Sofia District Prosecutor's Office (SPO) has charged five people - four of them adults, one minor - for hooligan acts that are particularly audacious and cynical. Some of them were accompanied by resistance against a government body with functions of maintaining public order in front of the headquarters of the European Parliament and the European Commission on Saturday, 22 February 2025. This was announced at a briefing by Sofia Deputy District Prosecutor Atanas Dotsinski in connection with the escalation of the "Vazrazhdane" protest against the euro. The penalty provided for in the law is up to five years for adults and up to two years after the reduction for minors, he said. [+]
