Media Literacy Conference 2024 - The Superpower of Tomorrow's Teachers
The Center for Independent Journalism (CIJ) has the pleasure to invite you to the Media Literacy Conference 2024 - The Superpower of Tomorrow's Teachers, which will take place on 18 May 2024, at Sheraton Hotel in Bucharest. The third edition of the Media Literacy Conference is a full day event, starting at 09:00 AM.
The Media Literacy Conference brings together experts from the field, teachers, embassies and authorities representatives and NGOs. The discussions will be focused on challenges and solutions in the field regarding media literacy both in Romania, as well as at EU level, best practices in terms of how to develop the superpower of media literacy in youth, especially in a world of artificial intelligence.
The keynote speaker of this year’s edition will be Renee Hobbs, from the University of Rhode Island - USA, a well known expert on digital and media literacy education, founder of the Media Education Lab.
