In 2023 Bulgaria held parliamentary and local elections.
Parliamentary elections were held on 2 April 2023, which were initially scheduled to be held in November 2026. These were the fifth parliamentary elections in the last 2 years, and in Bulgaria there was also misinformation from different parties on the political spectrum.
